Carlton Primary Staff

I am Mrs Bevis and I am the head teacher at Carlton Primary. I have 20 years of teaching experience with the last 14 years being in middle and senior leadership. I absolutely love teaching and have a keen interest in SEND and wellbeing both in adults and children. I feel very fortunate to have been appointed the head teacher of such a beautiful school and to be part of the Carlton Family. Before I became a teacher I was in Banking for 10 years before I became a housewife. I then re-trained and gained my teaching degree in 2007. In 2017 I became a SENDCO at my previous school along with wearing numerous leadership hats. I love education and I love supporting children learn.

I'm Miss Notaro, and I have the privilege of serving as the Assistant Headteacher at our school. Alongside this role, I teach our wonderful Year 5 and 6 pupils in Owls Class - a class I absolutely love being part of. My favourite subjects to teach are English, PSHE, Swimming and Science, as I enjoy helping children build confidence, explore new ideas and develop a love of learning in these areas.

I am class teacher in Hedgehogs class, the school's SENDCO and EYFS lead. I enjoy teaching maths and PE, especially swimming. I am keen on children learning through continuous provision and outdoor learning. Outside of school, I enjoy running and baking! 

I'm Mrs Pinfold, and I am the Office Manager at our school. I enjoy helping to keep the school running smoothly and am often one of the first friendly faces you'll see when you visit or get in touch. I'm always happy to help and support our children, families and staff.

I'm Mrs McConachie, and I am the Financial & Clerical Assistant at our school. I support the day-to-day running of the school by managing administrative tasks, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. I enjoy supporting our staff, children and families and being part of our wonderful school community.

I'm Mrs Collier, and I have the pleasure of teaching our Year 3 and 4 class. I love helping children grow in confidence, develop new skills and discover a love of learning every day.

I'm Miss Bowyer, and I am the Reception class teacher. I love helping our youngest learners begin their school journey, building their confidence, curiosity and love of learning through fun, engaging experiences every day.

I'm Mrs Birch, and I am the Lead Teaching Assistant at our school. You'll see me working across lots of different classrooms, supporting children with their learning and helping them to thrive - including leading different interventions. I love being part of every child's journey and enjoy seeing their confidence and independence grow.

I'm Miss Coxon, and I am a Teaching Assistant at Carlton, where I predominantly work in Key Stage 1 and EYFS. As a qualified Nursery Nurse, I am passionate about supporting children in their early years, helping them to grow in confidence, develop new skills and enjoy every step of their learning journey. I love working with children and feel privileged to be part of their development every day.

I'm Mrs Chervona, and I am a Teaching Assistant at our school. You'll see me in lots of different classrooms, supporting children with their learning and helping them to achieve their very best. I enjoy working across the school and being part of each child's learning journey.

I'm Ms Edwards, and I am a Teaching Assistant at Carlton. I love supporting children in their learning, helping them to grow in confidence, develop new skills and enjoy their time at school. It is a privilege to be part of their learning journey and to help them achieve their very best.

I'm Mr Simpson, and I am the Site Agent at Carlton. I help to keep our school safe, secure and well maintained, ensuring that our children and staff have a welcoming environment in which to learn and work. I'm proud to play a part in making Carlton a great place to be every day.
