Dear Prospective Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in joining Carlton CofE Primary School. We are a small, vibrant rural school where every member of our community is valued and supported. At Carlton, we are proud to live out our core values of compassion, collaboration, creativity, and community in all that we do. These values underpin our approach to teaching and learning, ensuring that every pupil is nurtured to grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a caring and inclusive environment.
Our school ethos encourages staff and pupils alike to work together creatively, supporting one another to achieve success and to develop a lifelong love of learning. We believe that by fostering strong relationships within our school community and beyond, we create a positive and inspiring place for everyone to thrive.
We warmly welcome visitors to Carlton CofE Primary School. Whether you wish to explore our classrooms, meet our dedicated team, or experience our supportive atmosphere first-hand, we invite you to come and see what makes Carlton such a special place. We are confident that a visit will give you a true sense of our commitment to excellence and the nurturing environment we provide.
We are currently looking for an experienced teacher to cover maternity leave in our Year 1 and 2 classroom – Hedgehogs. This position will initially be for two terms, with the possibility of extending to three terms. Experience with a SENDCO role would be desirable but is not essential. The role will begin from February half-term and run until September, with a potential extension until Christmas 2026.
If you would like more information, please download the details provided below or contact the school office to arrange an appointment to speak with me directly. All visits are positively welcomed, and I would be delighted to discuss the role and our school community with you.
We look forward to receiving your application and potentially welcoming you to our school family.
Warmest regards
