How exciting! We have a vacancy for a Level 3 EYFS Nursery Nurse/teaching assistant to join our happy team from 1st September 2026.
Nursery Nurse/Teaching Assistant Level 3 EYFS
The successful applicant must have a Level 3 EYFS/NNEB qualification and GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) to comply with our nursery requirements.
The post is based in our Squirrels classroom, which combines nursery and Year R children.
The Nursery Nurse will work under the guidance of the class teacher to plan and deliver learning tasks in line with the EYFS framework/ curriculum in a clear and engaging way. You will work with individual children and groups of children, to ensure they all receive exceptional care, learning and development opportunities in line with EYFS framework and school policies.

The successful applicant will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to pre-employment checks, including a health check, an enhanced criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and satisfactory references, before appointment is confirmed.
The post is NJC Level 3 Teaching assistant, spine point 5-7. The salary is £19738 - £20371 (based on April 2025 rates), dependent on experience. The hours are Mon - Fri 8.40am to 3.40pm, totalling 32.5 hours a week. There is a daily 30 minute unpaid lunch hour. The post is term time plus 32.5 hours of paid training during the academic year.
