Carlton C of E Primary is set in the most beautiful grounds and our aim is to facilitate the use of these grounds within our curriculum.   The forest school adds premium to our art, science and DT curriculums as well as being great for mental wellbeing.   

Forest School sessions run on a Wednesday and Thursday each week and every year group receives the benefit of a series of sessions each term.   

                                       Mrs Noah is our Forest School Leader.   She absolutely loves the outside learning aspect of

                                                                                                        Forest School and works really hard on making it an enjoyable learning experience for all our

                                                                                                        children.    She also hosts an after school club on a Wednesday.

                                     

Children love the outdoors and have been thoroughly enjoying Forest School with children saying:

"We love forest school because it makes us happy" Year 3 Child.     

"Being outside is great, we play but we are learning" Year 5 Child. 

"Forest school just makes everything better"  Year 2 Child.
