  • Mrs J Bevis

    Head Teacher

    I am Mrs Bevis and I am the head teacher at Carlton Primary. I have 17 years of teaching experience with the last 10 years being in middle and senior leadership. I absolutely love teaching and have a keen interest in SEND and wellbeing both in adults and children. I feel very fortunate to have been appointed the head teacher of such a beautiful school and to be part of the Carlton Family. Before I became a teacher I was in Banking for 10 years before I became a housewife. I then re-trained and gained my teaching degree in 2007. In 2017 I became a SENDCO at my previous school and have had varied leadership positions.

    Senior Teacher and Squirrels' Teacher

    I am Caroline Williams, Class teacher of Squirrels class. I have 23years of experience teaching in EYFS and KS1. I have a passion for Early years and helping the children in my class to develop as individuals. I am also the school lead teacher and Staff Governor. I am currently training to be a forest school leader and look forward to developing this exciting area at school. Outside of work I enjoy making and repairing things with my hands such as Knitting, sewing, upholstery and furniture restoration. I also enjoy walking, cinema and spending time with my family.

    My name is Aleshia Frost. I have been teaching for 23 years throughout the Primary phase. I have a real love for the arts and wherever possible strive to enhance this within the schools that I work in. Alongside this, I am SENDCO and Behaviour and Culture lead which is another area which I feel very passionate about.

    I am Miss Notaro and teach Owls. I enjoy teaching swimming, PSHE, English and science. I am the School Council Lead and hold regular meetings with the children to discuss and organise upcoming School Council events.

    I am the Forest School Leader for Carlton Church of England Primary School. I love the outdoors and finding fantastic outside learning opportunities for the children. Forest School adds value to our PSHE, Science, Art and DT curriculums.

    I am a teaching assistant in EYFS. I am also a qualified Nursery Nurse. I love working in Squirrels.
